Fake currency printing racket busted in Hyderabad, 6 held

The North Zone Task Force police busted a fake currency printing racket on Tuesday and arrested six people. The counterfeit currency worth Rs 9.2 lakh seized from them.

The arrested were identified as Ishaq Bin Saleh, B Gowtham, Mohd Sohail Ali, Mohd Ghousuddin, Abrar Khan and Syed Kashif.

The police said that Ishaq, a native of Sangareddy district has planned to print fake currency along with his friends and circulate them. The fake currency in denominations of Rs 100 and Rs 200 were printed the gang and were caught at Jagdish Market while trying to circulate the currency.

In a similar case, a man was arrested by the South Zone Task Force police on the charges of circulating fake currency. The arrested was identified as Ameen-Ul-Rahman, a native of West Bengal.
