Fake liquor gang busted in Parigi
Parigi: The gang of fake liquor makers has been busted by the excise officials of Yadadri and Vikarabad districts. The officers have arrested two members of the gang on and one member is still absconding.
The officers have seized the labels, caps and spirit used to make liquor from the gang. The officials conducted raids in Bodhan and Pochampally four days ago and seized fake liquor and material used for making fake liquor.
The officials had taken into custody the suspects and began investigation. They found out that material to prepare fake liquor is coming from Tandur, Karnataka. Consequently, the excise officers, along with enforcement officials conducted search operations on Monday in the district.
As part of the operations, they found that Bichaiah, a belt shop owner of Nagulapalli, and another person Mogalaiah were found to be making fake liquor. The officials raided their houses and seized labels and other material required to make fake liquor.
