Farmers felicitate Tahasildar in Mahabubabad for solving the 70-year dispute over Agricultural lands
The villagers of Mahabubad Mandal has grandly felicitated Tahasildar, who had solved the 70-year-old dispute over the land allotments. The incident took place in Mahabubabad district of Telangana. Many farmers from the villages of Madhavapuram and Mallya in the district have not received the land registration documents for about 70 years. Officials have refused to give the documents since seventy years; as a result, they are unable to reap the benefits of Rathu Bandu and Raithu Bheema schemes
To this end, Ranjit Kumar, who came to the Mahbubabd Mandal as Tahsildar six months ago, has focused on the problems of farmers and held a survey on the disputed lands. The Tahalsidar corrected the mistakes in the land records and sent them to the government. As a result of his efforts, 900 people in Madhavapuram, 1548 in Mallya and 1400 farmers in Amanagal have got their names recorded in the documents.
Mahabubabad MP Mallothu Kavita, MLA Shankar Nayak, has issued the land documents to the eligible farmers. The farmers who were overwhelmed by the Tahsildar Ranjit Kumar's help honoured him with a large garland.
