Farmers stage rasta roko against urea shortage in Kamareddy
Yellareddy (Kamareddy): The traffic near the Tahsil office in Yellareddy town on Friday was disrupted for about one hour as the farmers led by Congress leaders and activists staged rasta roko. The farmers staged a dharna demanding enough supply of urea.
Extending support to the agitating farmers, ZPTC member Usha Goud pointed out that the farmers have been suffering from urea shortage in Yellareddy constituency for the past few days. 'Farmers will wait for hours at the society office to get urea.
But they will hardly get one or two bags due to insufficient urea in societies,' she added.

Police and agricultural department officials rushed to the spot. Farmers withdrew the rasta roko after submitting a memorandum to the RDO.
