Father, brother booked for killing man in Hyderabad

In a gruesome act, a 30-year-old man was killed by his father and elder brother late on Saturday here under Jeedimetla police station limits.

According to the SI Chandraiah, Pullaiah, father of the victim is a native of Gangayapalli in Kadapa district and has three sons. The family moved to Bhagat Singh Nagar in Chintal 10 years ago. However, his elder son Venkataramana returned to his native place and Pullaiah was residing in the city with his wife and younger son Venkateshwarlu. His second son Srinivas is staying near to the house of his parents at Durganagar.

The victim Venkateshwarlu who was working as an auto driver had been addicted to alcohol and used to return home late in the night. He would then often pick up a fight with his father. On Saturday too, Venkateshwarlu came home late in an inebriated state and entered into a heated argument with his father.

Enraged over his behaviour, Pullaiah with the help of his second son Srinivas attacked the younger son with a pestle and stick who died on the spot.

The police registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
