Fears of farmers allayed; compensation assured

Jogipet: A meeting of the farmers whose agriculture fields were affected by the Talelma Lift Irrigation Project, held at the AE Office, Vatpalli on Wednesday. The pipelines of the project were laid under the agricultural fields of these farmers.

Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Engineer Srikanth assured them of compensation of crop loss during the rainy season and also water for irrigation purposes. The pipelines were laid under depth of two and half meters.

The AE said, farmers can go ahead with their agriculture work after pipelines are laid. Convinced farmers handed over their consent letter to the Sangareddy RDO Srinu.

Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran, Vatpalli MRO Hemalatha, Talelma Lift Irrigation Chairman Linga Goud, Co-option member Quthubuddin and farmers from Saipet and Marvelli were present.
