File FIR against L&T metro rail: HC to cops

The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the cops to file FIR against L&T Metro Rail after a restaurant group approached the court.

Based on the complaint lodged by Urban Asia Restaurants and Hotels Pvt Ltd which said the officials of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd were not allowing them to function in the Metro mall at HiTec City despite having a licence to run a food court.

The restaurant was asked to get ready for a food court at Hitec City metro mall before the opening of the line, the restaurant counsel said.

Responding to the plea, the acting Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan asked the Telangana government and Cyberabad police commissioner and the station house officer of Madhapur to investigate the complaint made by the restaurant.
