Five held, 13 ganja packets seized in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: Nearly 13 sealed packets of ganja was seized by the Bhadrachalam town police on Tuesday.

Addressing the media, Bhadrachalam Circle Inspector P Satyanarayana Reddy said as part of daily checking at bus stand, the police found five persons moving suspiciously.

When the police took them into custody and interrogated, the police 13 ganja packets in the bags the arrested were carrying. The five persons were from Odisha and heading towards Hyderabad.

The worth of the seized ganja is said to be Rs 4 lakh, said the CI. The police filed a case against the arrested. Further investigation is underway.
