Five security personnel of minister Mahmood Ali test coronavirus positive

As many as five security personnel of Telangana home minister Mahmood Ali tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday.

All the five - residents of Gun Bazar, Hayatnagar, Ibrahimbagh, Tolichowki and Mailardevpally were asked to remain in home quarantine. Sanitization works have been taken up in these areas.

A few days ago, three security personnel have tested positive for coronavirus following which samples of all who discharging duties at the minister's house were collected. And on Wednesday, the reports of five security personnel turned positive while the reports of other including the minister are awaited.

It is believed that the security personnel have contracted the virus from a visitor.

Earlier this week, the gunman of MLA Raja Singh have tested positive and the public representative have been advised home quarantine. PA of Harish Rao, driver of Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and OSD of health minister Eatala Rajender were also tested positive for coronavirus.
