Free blood checking camps held in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: The representatives of Indian Youth Secured Organisation (IYSO) celebrated its 14th anniversary and observed National Doctors Day here on Monday. Marking the occasions, IYSO representatives organised free blood group check-up camps at various locations in the city.

Deputy Transport Commissioner of Karimnagar and Adilabad Dr Puppala Srinivas had inaugurated the check-up camp at the Collectorate while the camp at RTC bus stand was inaugurated by City Municipal Commissioner G Venu Gopal Reddy.

Another two camps conducted at Kaman Circle and Tower Circle were inaugurated by Karimnagar Rural Mandal Inspector of Police Sashidhar Reddy.

Several people attended and checked their blood groups at the free blood group check-up camps.

Meanwhile, a special health camp was organised at Kundanapalli village in Ramagundam, under National Thermal Power Corporation on National Doctors Day.

Dr Pradeep and his team from Dhanwanthari hospitals conducted the camp and checked the health of as many as 120 patients and distributed medicines free of cost to them.
