Free medical camp held in Maddunur

Buggaram: The staff of Primary Health Centre under the supervision of Dr N Srinivas on Thursday organised a free medical camp at Maddunur village of Buggaram mandal of Dharmapuri constituency of Jagtial district.

Dr N Srinivas created awareness among the people about seasonal diseases and steps to be taken to prevent the spread of viral fevers and contagious diseases. 'Water should not be allowed to remain stagnant in the surroundings of houses and in open places in the villages, due to which mosquitos and house fly's population will increase and will spread the diseases,' he said.He advised the villagers to drink water after boiling it which kills bacteria if any in the water.

About 35 free medical camps were organised under Dharmapuri PHC, which received good response from the people, he informed. About 175 people attended the medical camp and the doctors conducted tests to them and distributed free medicines to them.

Village Sarpanch Battula Thirupathi, deputy sarpanch Manjula, MPTC Mahesh, Health Extension Officer A Rajesham, Health Supervisor Md Siddique, Health Assistants Bharathi, Latha and Asha workers Sunitha, Jaya and Swapna were present along with others.
