Fumed over wife-mother quarrel, Man strangles wife to death in Hyderabad

Fumed over wife chiding his mother, a man strangled his wife to death on Tuesday at Kadthal village of Rangareddy district.

The victim, Rajathi got married to Subavath Lakshman eight months ago. Ever since their marriage, Rajathi used to quarrel with her husband and mother-in-law. Despite a warning from her husband, Rajathi abused her mother-in-law in front of Lakshman. Enraged over the issue, Lakshman strangled her wife with the chain on her neck.

However, he has gone absconding later fearing of the arrest. The police registered a case against Lakshman and are investigating. Rajathi's body was shifted to a hospital for an autopsy. Meanwhile, a hunt was launched by the police who nab the accused.

On August 5, 2019, a man killed his wife suspecting her fidelity and later killed his two children. The incident occurred at Vikarabad. The victim, Chandini had divorced her first husband and fallen in love with the accused Praveen and married him.
