Gachibowli: Ayurveda can alleviate cancer, claim Dr. Aditi Kulkarni

Gachibowli: Radhaas Ayurway conducted a cancer awareness program in connection with World Cancer Day on Tuesday. Rajagopal, the chief medical counselor, Radhaas Ayurway, said, "Ayurvedic treatment gives good relief to patients undergoing chemotherapy and also in building confidence."
Dr. Aditi Kulkarni, director of medical services, Radhaas Ayurway, advised the patients not to consume foods high in sugar and low in fiber. They advised to avoid processed food, a high intake of fruits, vegetables, whole grains would reduce the risk of the canner. Fruits, vegetables and whole grains will reduce cancer risk. Obesity increases risk of 13 types of cancer, added Dr. Aditi.
