Gadwal: TRS dominates in Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society elections

Gadwal: The Bharatiya Janata party has given a tough fight to the ruling TRS party in the just concluded Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society elections on Saturday.

Out of total 52 PACS that went to elections in all the 4 mandals of Gadwal district, the BJP and TRS parties had a neck to neck fight in at least three mandals of Gadwal, Dharur and Maldakal, while in the 4th mandal of Gattu, the TRS party made a clean sweep and won all the 13 PACS.

In Gadwal out of total 13 PACS that went to elections, the TRS party bagged 10 PACS director posts, while the BJP could manage only 3. Similarly in Dharur mandal the BJP swept 10 out of 13 PACS, while the TRS could manage only 3 in its favour. In Maldakal, the TRS could win only 8 out of 13 PACs, while the remaining 5 PACS have been taken by the BJP party.

However, in Gattu mandal the TRS showed its complete dominance and swept all the 13 PACs in its favour giving nil to BJP party.

While this is the situation in Gadwal constituency, in Alampur constituency out of 7 PACS, the TRS party bagged 4 PACs and the remaining are bagged by Congress (2) and Mahakutami (1). Except Undavelli, Vaddepally and Ieeja which are won by Congress and Mahakutami respectively, TRS won the PACs of Putan Doddi, Manopadu, Kwatur and Alampur.

In Pebbair mandal of Wanaparthy district, out of 13 PACS, 5 PACS were elected by TRS party unanimously, however the remaining 8 PACs that went to elections, in them TRS and Congress won 4 PACS each.
