Gangula Kamalakar accuses politicos, babus of trying to defeat in 2019 polls

Karimnagar: Responding over the telephonic talk between Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar said on Saturday that some officials and political leaders have tried to defeat him in the 2019 Assembly elections.

The Minister attributed his victory in elections to people of his constituency and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

He further said the government will probe into the conspiracy against him and will take action accordingly.

I have been working hard for several years for the uplift of poor and weaker sections in Karimnagar district, he added.

Gangula said he was pained over alleged involvement of an election official in the conspiracy.
