Ganja worth Rs 1.8 crore seized in Hyderabad

The DRI officials on Friday seized Rs 944.7kg of Ganja at LB Nagar in Hyderabad on Friday. The worth of ganja is estimated to be of Rs 1.88 crore.

The officials intercepted the lorry and the found the ganja concealed in small packets. The vehicle is said to be coming from Andhra-Telangana border. Two people were caught by the officials who seized the lorry and registered a case.

In May 2019, the officials of excise and enforcement directorate arrested two people and seized 508kg of marijuana which is worth of Rs 1 crore in the market.
