Garvi-Gurjari expo inaugurated

Hyderabad: The Gurjari, a unit of the Gujarat state handloom & handicraft development corporation ltd., is organising Gujarat's traditional products at 'Garvi – Gurjari' exhibition-cum-sale at Hotel Sarovar compound, Secretariat Road, Hyderabad from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.

The event will open all days including Sundays and public holidays from March 18 to 31.

Many private parties from Gujarat will also be participating & presenting their products.

Some of the prominent craft and handlooms that will be on display and sale are Bandini handloom sarees, patch work, ethnic block-printed dress materials, cotton and silk, hand-block prints, Kutch embroidery, patola sarees and many more.

Handicrafts include leather puppets, tribal craft, wood carving, sandalwood ethnic, furniture, leather and art metal work and many more are displayed.
