Geotag all planted saplings: Collector to officials

Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini reviewed the progress of fifth phase of Haritha Haram programme in the district. Speaking at the meeting with the officials of various departments in Kothagudem on Friday, the Collector directed the officials to take the help of local public representatives and villagers to make the programme a huge success.

Stating that officials of every department must meet their targets, the Collector directed the officials to send the day-wise planting reports to District Forest Officer's office.

Adding that about one crore saplings would be planted this time in the district, he asked the officials to also take care of the plants till they are on their own and also geo-tag every plant.

On the occasion, he urged everyone to take part in the programme and protect the environment by planting more and more saplings.
