GHMC slaps notice on Shine Hospital

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued notice to Shine Hospital following the fire accident on Monday.

The civic body asked the hospital management to submit copies of the fire NOC, building occupancy certificate, sanction plan and its proceedings, trade license and property tax.

Officials directed the hospital management to furnish the said document copies within three days.

The notice also warned the hospital management that failing to submit the said copies leads to initiate actions in accordance of rules and bye-laws framed under the GHMC Act.

The civic body's intervention comes in the wake of rumours that the hospital building was not built as per fire safety norms.
