Bhadrachalam: Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) Project Officer VP Gowtham directed the officials concerned to clear all the pending pleas that were received during Girijana Darbar programme conducted every Monday.

On Monday, he attended the Darbar programme with all unit officers and reviewed the pending applications. During the review, he expressed his unhappiness over pending applications and directed the officials to address them immediately.

Meanwhile, a large number of tribals thronged the ITDA office on the day. They had to wait in queues to submit their applications.

The Project Officer went received the pleas from people standing in queues and interacted with them to know their issues. The PO received around 700 pleas on the day and sent them to officials concerned for clearing. He warned of strict action against the officials if they delay in addressing the issues. Most of the pleas that received were with regard to Podu land pattas.
