Girl crushed to death in elevator

Hyderabad: An 8-year-old girl was trapped in a lift while playing and crushed to death. The tragedy occurred on Friday evening at Pindi Pullareddy Colony under LB Nagar Police Station limits.

According to the locals, Chandrashekar was residing with his wife and children in the colony. His 8-year-old daughter's named Lasya while playing in the courtyard of the newly built apartment on Friday evening with the other children went to the lift.

Accidentally the lift doors were closed, and she was trapped in between and seriously injured. Immediately, her parents rushed to hospital, and on the way, Lasya breathed her last.

The LB Nagar police said no complaint was lodged yet. The body was taken back to her house without autopsy as her family raised no suspicion and confirmed she died due to an accident.
