Glowing tributes paid to police martyrs
Vikarabad: The 60th Police Commemoration Day was organised here at district police headquarters, under the leadership of Superintendent of Police M Narayana on Monday. District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam and MLA Dr M Anand paid tributes to the police martyrs and received guard of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that large number of police personnel have sacrificed their lives for the protection of the motherland. He wished peace for their souls and said that the police department would always stand by their families.
"Police are on duty for 24 hours a day for the protection of people, their property and lives. Police respond to every issue faced by the public. It is impossible to imagine a society without police," Narayana said. Additional SP R Bhaskar and other officials were also present on the occasion.
