GMR trains 200, helps them secure jobs

Patancheru: Two hundred men and women who underwent free five-month residential police training at a camp in GMR have secured government jobs. They along with Camp Commandant Gopi Shankar on Monday met local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy at GMC Convention centre here. The MLA had arranged the training to enable unemployed persons secure jobs.

As many as 350 persons were trained, and of them 200 have secured jobs in various government departments. Reddy complimented them at the meeting. Addressing them, the MLA stated that it was a matter of pleasure that those who underwent training had secured government employment.

He said the training was given following suggestions and it was given by Venkatesh who had worked as Jinnaram CI. Shankar had trained meritorious candidates who managed to secure jobs with discipline and determination. Reddy advised them to serve people with dedication. He said such training camps would be organised in future. Among those present on the occasion were former MLA K Satyanarayana, Venkat Reddy, TRS leaders Adarsh Reddy, Anki Reddy.
