Godavari water level reaches danger mark in Bhadrachalam

Bhadrachalam: Due to heavy rains in Telangana and neighbour States, water level in Godavari river has reached close to the first warning level at 42 feet here on Saturday. When it touches 43 feet officials would sound the first warning.

On Saturday at 12 pm, the flood water level was recorded at 41 feet. After six hour it reached 42 feet. The officers also expect it would reach the first warning level at night. The district administration has already alerted all mandal officers.

District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini conducted a teleconference with all the tahsildars giving all precautionary orders. When the water level reaches 48 feet, the officers would sound the second warning. At 53 feet, the officers would sound the final warning.
