Bhadrachalam: The Krishna Chaitanya Sangham of Korukonda from East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh on Friday presented Goti Talambralu to Lord Sita Ramachandra Swamy at Bhadradri temple.

Amid chanting of slokas, slogans Jai Sri Rama and singing of bhajana, the group members presented the Goti Talambralu to the presiding deities.

Appa Rao, who led the Krishna Chaitanya Sangam, speaking to the media after presenting the Talambralu, said that it took three months for more than 5,000 devotees of 30 villages in East Godavari district to prepare Talambralu manually.

People will manually remove the husk of the paddy grains with their nails and mix the rice with turmeric to prepare Goti Talambralu, he explained.

One of the group member, A Laxmi, said they have been preparing this Talambralu since 2012. She said she was happy for doing this for Lord Rama.
