Government ducked questions in Assembly: Congress
Hyderabad: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday said that the government did not give answers to the questions being raised by the party during the Assembly sessions concluded on Sunday.
Addressing the media, along with MLAs D Sridhar Babu, Sithakka, and Viraiah, he said that the Assembly was used to get political mileage.
He alleged that no allocations have been made in the budget to keep the promises being made by TRS during the elections.
It has forgotten its promises on giving monthly allowance to unemployed youth. He said that by reducing the budgetary allocations by Rs 40,000 crore the government has shown its helplessness in resource mobilization.
Though lakhs of crores have been spent through own revenues, central grants and through loans, nothing tangible has been achieved. He said that the expenditure did not help raise the revenue of the government.
The government failed to give the detailed project report of Kaleswaram project. He said that the government failed to come to the rescue of the tenant farmers.
