Government moots integrated master plans for GHMC, Cyberabad and HMDA

Hyderabad: State government said that an integrated master plans for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Cyberabad and Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) areas are being prepared.

Giving details about the preparation of master plans for the newly formed Urban Development Authorities in the State, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao said the preparation of master plans are underway.

He said that the draft master plans for Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA) and Nizamabad Urban Development Authority (NUDA) have been notified calling for objections and suggestions from the public and final master plans will be approved after considering them all.

The Vemulavada Temple Development Authority, Siddipet Urban Development Authority, Satavahana Urban Development Authority, Karimnagar and Stambhadri Urban Development Authority, Khammam have initiated preparation of Master Plans and the same are under process, he said.

The requests for proposals for preparation of GIS (Geographic Information System) based Master Plan for Siddipet, Karimnagar and Khammam Urban Development Authority are under consideration, the minister added.
