Government will soon publicise medicinal values of toddy: Excise Minister Srinivas Goud
Choutuppal (Yadadri-Bhongir): Excise Minister Srinivas Goud has stated that caste-based professions helped the people tread the path of civilisation, and the State government was working towards the welfare of those practicing the caste-based professions.
After participating in some private programmes, the Minister spoke to the media in Choutuppal in the district on Friday.
Addressing the media, he asserted that the government was going to publicise the medicinal values of toddy across the State very soon. "Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will pay attention to other fields after the completion of proposed irrigation projects, which are top of the government's agenda," Srinivas Goud added.
He also informed that the State government has sanctioned Rs 10.90 crore ex gratia for the families of toddy tappers who breathed their last after falling from palm trees while carrying out their job.
