Nalgonda: Health Minister Eatala Rajender felt that government hospitals in the State have been developed on par with corporate hospitals to provide better services and treatments to the people of the State.

Along with Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy and Zilla Parishad chairman Banda Narender Reddy, Eatala on Monday inaugurated the new building complex built with an estimated cost of Rs 18 crore on the premises of Kamala Nehru government hospital in Nagarjunasagar and inspected the government hospital in Halia.

Speaking on these occasions, the Health Minister said the government hospitals were providing better treatment to all besides KCR Kits and nutritious food to pregnant women through Anganwadi centres.

"People of Nalgonda and Suryapet are going to get corporate style treatment thorough hospitals attached to the medical colleges in a few months," he said.

He questioned the Congress and the BJP to give explanation on why they had failed to provide round-the-clock power supply in their ruling States?

"State government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao provided the 24x7 power supply in a short span of five years," Eatala said.

Minister Jagadish Reddy, in his speech, stated that the Chief Minister had brought revolutionary changes in the field of health and people of the State with confidence have been visiting government hospitals.

Later, the Ministers visited medical college in Nalgonda and inspected the facilities and announced that medical colleges attached with 650-bed hospitals in Nalgonda and Suryapet will start functioning from this academic year.

Local MLAs Nomula Narsimaiah, Kancharala Bhupal Reddy, officials and TRS local leaders accompanied the Ministers.
