Hyderabad: Graffiti at Hi-Tec City Metro

Hyderabad: Depiction of the ongoing violence in Delhi by way of a new wall painting on the walls of Hi-Tec City Metro station has become a new talk of the town. The person who has done the graffiti is yet to be found by the Cyberabad police officials.

The image went viral on social media when a twitterati, a researcher on urban spaces, named Indivar Jonnalagadda, posted this picture on his twitter. The post elicited 423 retweets and 872 likes as on March, 02 with number of other twitterati tweeting their opinions on the graffiti. The graffiti shows a Muslim man kneeling down and saving himself from the rioters, captioned with, "The End of the F***ing Democracy"

Indivar Jonnalagadda (@IndivarJ) tweeted this picture along with the caption, "Seen on a #Hyderabad street."

When contacted, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) officials said that the issue has been taken up with the Cyberabad Police and that they were making efforts to find the culprit with the help of CCTV cameras at the Metro station.
