Grandfather, uncle held for molesting woman in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Chandrayanagutta police have arrested two persons for molesting a woman and sent them to remand on Monday. According to the police, Sheikh Afsar (70) and his 19-year-old granddaughter resides at Mohammed Nagar in Bandlaguda.

Sheikh Afsar, who had an eye on the girl, has sexually assaulted her two years ago. His other son Sheikh Siddique also raped her six months ago and threatened her not to reveal the matter with anyone.

The incident came into light when the victim disclosed the matter with her mother on February 1st. Immediately, they approached Chandrayanagutta police station and lodged a complaint. On receiving the complaint, the police have registered a case, arrested the accused and sent them to the judicial remand.
