Grievance Day at ITDA: Tribals plea for Kalyana Lakshmi benefits
Bhadrachalam: A large number of tribals attended the Grievance Day programme held at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency Office in Bhadrachalam on Monday. Agency Project Officer VP Goutham received pleas from the tribals and interacted with them and sought to know their issues. A majority of applications received were related to podu land pattas and sanctioning of Kalyana Lakshmi benefits. The Project Officer, on the occasion, directed the officials to clear all the grievances immediately besides mentioning the reasons for rejecting the pleas, if any. The official directed the medical officer concerned to take all measures for prevention of viral fevers in agency villages and suggested them to conduct awareness camps in villages and extend help to those in need.
Directing the panchayat staff to conduct sanitation programme in villages immediately, the PO informed that over 20 members have applied for the post of ANM in the ashram schools.
Executive Engineer (Tribal Welfare) Koti Reddy, Assistant Project Officer (General) Nago Rao, Administrative Officer Bheem Rao, Assistant Project Officer (Power) Anuradha, Manager Surender, Additional District Medical and Health Officer Singa Raju and others attended the programme.
