Gutha elected as member of Telangana Legislative Council

Hyderabad: TRS leader and former MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy were declared elected uncontested as member of Telangana State Legislative Council.

Gutha was the lone candidate who filed nomination for election to one MLC seat which fell vacant due to disqualification of K Yadava Reddy who joined Congress. Since TRS had good strength to win the lone seat, no other party entered the fray which facilitated the unanimous election of Gutha Sukhender Reddy.
