Hard work, dedication key to success, says Mittal

Osmania University: Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education Naveen Mittal said consistent hard work and dedication towards studies is the key to success.

He was chief guest at annual day celebrations of Andhra Mahila Sabha Arts and Science College for Women.

He asked students to face challenges and to grab opportunities that come their way. He also advised them to inculcate optimism.

UGC Southern Eastern Regional Office Joint Secretary Dr G Srinivas called upon the students to take Durgabai Deshmukh as inspiration and excel in academics.

AMS President N Usha Reddy said an engineering college would be set up soon. She said she would strive for the women and girls education.

Principal Dr D Rajeshwari said 23 of the 50 activities taken up for the academic year have been executed.

She explained the development, achievements and future action plans of the college.

Awards and certificates were distributed to those who excelled in academics and sports.

Prof M Srinivas, Vice Principal, Dr P Vijaya Lakshmi, teaching and non-teaching staff and students were present.
