Harish Rao gives away Bathukamma sarees in Siddipet
Unafraid of the economic recession and deficit budget, the TRS government is continuing the welfare programmes in the state, said finance minister Harish Rao.
He gave away Bathukamma sarees to the women in Gajwel in the presence of MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, ZP chairman Roja Sharma and JC Padmakar. Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said that the sarees will be distributed to around 3,65,225 women in the district.
He also directed the officials to distribute the sarees to all the eligible women.
Lauding the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Harish said that drinking water supply has been initiated to every household with Mission Bhagiratha. In spite of the recession, programmes like KCR kit, Kalyana Lakshmi, Aasara pension are being given to the people in the state, he said.
