HC dismisses petition filed against Revanth Reddy's arrest

The Telangana High Court on Monday dismissed the petition filed by Congress stating Revanth Reddy's arrest was illegal as the party failed to explain the reasons pertaining to the plea.

Revanth was taken into custody during assembly elections to prevent him from creating chaos at KCR public meeting in Kondangal. After his arrest, Congress leader Vem Narendar Reddy filed a Habeas Corpus petition stating Revanth's arrest was illegal.
