HC issues notice to KCR, Gajwal RO

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Tuesday issued notices to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Returning Officer of Gajwal constituency.

After hearing the petition filed by Srinivas, a voter from Gajwal Constituency, alleging deliberate falsification of information in the election affidavit, the court issued notices.

In the petition, the petitioner alleged that of the 64 criminal cases against KCR, only four were mentioned in the election affidavit.

The bench sought KCR and Returning Officer of Gajwal constituency to filed reply within four weeks.
