HC remarks show the respect CM has for law: Vijayashanthi

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader Vijayashanthi on Saturday said that the remarks of Telangana High Court on delimitation of municipal wards shows the respect Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has towards the law.

In a statement, she said the remarks of the court show that the Chief Minister indulged in abuse of power.

She said the government could go to any extent in abusing power in municipal elections as the High Court observed that the irregularities in ward delimitation was an example for the same.

She said the Chief Minister has been accusing the Opposition for the report sought by the President on the suicides of intermediate students.

She said the Chief Minister is faulting the orders of the President.
