Head constable shoots self to death in Nizamabad

Indalwai (Nizamabad): A police head constable on Wednesday committed suicide by shooting himself with SI revolver at Indalwai police station in Nizamabad.

The reason for his extreme step is yet to be known. Head constable Prakash Reddy was dead on the spot with grievous head injuries and his body was shifted to Nizamabad Government Hospital for postmortem.

He was survived with a son and a daughter. It is learned that Reddy will retire after eight months. CP Karthikeya rushed to the spot and inquired about the incident. An investigation is underway.
