Health cards distributed to lawyers in Suryapet

Suryapet: Education Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that government was well aware of lawyers problems and taking steps to address them.

The Minister on Monday distributed heath cards to lawyers at a programme held at Bar Association Hall on court premises in Suryapet.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister reminded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had included lawyers problems in party manifesto. "Apart from lawyers their family members can also avail medical services under the health cards," he said, promising to establish full-fledged courts in the district.

He further informed that courts with regard to consumer and labour would be established soon.

Lawyers emphasising the need to establish district court had submitted a memorandum to the Minister. Later they felicitated the Minister.

Bar Association president N Naveendar Kumar, vice-president K Sathish Kumar, general secretary Jatangi Venkateswarlu, other leaders R Shankaraiah Goud, J Shashidar, Ramadevi, Vasantha, G Prakash and others attended the event.
