Heavy fog blankets Nizamabad

Nizamabad: With the advent of north-eastern monsoon, heavy flog blanketed Nizamabad city on Wednesday. Sun was not visible until 8.30 am due to thick fog.

All of a sudden, temperature dropped to 3 degrees. Lowest temperature of 17 degree Celsius was recorded in Mupkal village and 16 degree C was recorded in Sone of Bodhan division of Adilabad district.

TSDPS officer Venumadhav said this is the first time that temperature has fallen in October. 20.5 degree C temperature was recorded in Sirikonda on Tuesday morning. The official said the temperature would further drop by 1 to 2 degrees with each day.
