High alert declared in Telangana in view of J&K developments
Hyderabad: In view of cancellation of Article 370 for Jammu and Kashmir, the Ministry of Home Affairs on Monday issued advisory for all States across the country to be on high alert in all communally sensitive areas in their respective areas.
Based on their advisory Telangana DGP in turn alerted all the commissioners and SPs of all districts to take care of the situation with high vigilance in the hypersensitive areas in their limits. Including the three police commissionerates Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda and other cities in Telangana the senior police officials alerted their staff and ordered to intensify their patrolling in hypersensitive, sensitive areas.
In Old City already police personnel are deployed in large numbers to meet any untoward incidents. By installing pickets police are concentrating on the movements of anti social elements. Cyberabad police commissioner V C Sajjanar said already 144 section is implementing in their limits.
