High-speed train between Hyderabad and Vijayawada: KTR
The government intends to bring high-speed train between Hyderabad and Vijayawada, said Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao on his visit to Huzurnagar in Nalgonda district. "The high-speed train between the two cities aids in the development of areas on the highways," KTR said.
KTR along with minister Jagadish Reddy was on his visit to Huzurnagar where he launched the newly constructed RDO office. The ministers later planted saplings at the municipal office as a part of Haritha Haram programme. They also laid the foundation for a skill development centre and an urban park.
Major reforms like the formation of new districts, divisions, mandals and villages have been taken place under the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's governance, said KTR.
In spite of the financial crisis, the Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 7 crores to 54,22,000 farmers under the Rythu Bandhu scheme. The government will also sanction money to Aasara pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes, the minister said.
MP Uttam Kumar Reddy, Badugula Lingaiah, MLAs Shanampudi Saidireddy, Gadari Kishore Kumar, Bhaskar Rao, Chirumarti Lingaiah, Mallaiah Yadav, collector Vinay Krishna Reddy and others were present.
