History sheeters mela held in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: All those, who indulge in any type of crime under Karimnagar Police Commissionerate limits,will be punished, warned Police Commissioner VB Kamalasan Reddy, at a history sheeters mela at the Police Commissionerate in Karimnagar on Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, the Police Commissioner said charge sheets registered against the history sheeters will be removed if they change their behaviour and live with peace and harmony in the society. If they do not mend their ways, a PD Act will be imposed against them, he warned.

The Commissioner said that the lives of history sheeters is miserable. Their children cannot get good education, jobs and good matches and also will have to face lot of hardships in future. History sheeters cannot celebrate festivals and other occasions happily as they must visit police stations on such occasions, since the police will bind-over the history sheeters to prevent any untoward incidents on such occasions.

And if any history sheeter is indulged in crime at the time of bind-over case, he must either has to pay Rs 1 lakh as penalty or has go to jail for six months. The police are taking into consideration those history sheeters, who were indulged in communal riots during 2008 and 2013 and if their conduct is proven good, the charge sheet registered against them will be removed, Kamalasan Reddy assured.

Town ACP P Ashok, Inspectors T Srinivas Rao, Deva Reddy and Vijay Kumar were present along with others.
