HMRL's chief lauded for 'vision & action' combination
Hyderabad: HMRL MD NVS Reddy has shown practically how "vision and action" combination leads to success, said Rajiv Trivedi, Prisons Director-General, at the Chenchalguda Jail training centre, here on Saturday.
Addressing the senior police officials at Telangana State Prisons Retreat 2019, Rajiv Trivedi said NVS Reddy has deftly combined many facets related to transportation, urban planning, social development and so on and stood as an outstanding leader in making the Hyderabad Metro project under PPP mode a reality.
Speaking at an inspirational dialogue at Retreat 2019 as chief guest, NVS Reddy detailed the innumerable challenges that the Hyderabad Metro Rail project faced, which were successfully overcome with determination and innovative strategies.
He said the Hyderabad Metro was constructed in PPP mode, without spending much of taxpayers' money and that it has become a case study and a role model for many upcoming metros across the globe.
Stating that Hyderabad Metro Rail is a unique project with a lot of foresight and innovation, NVS Reddy has highlighted major digital solutions/cutting edge technologies that were used in the project.
With such advanced solutions and technologies, Hyderabad Metro has won 98 awards so far and was taking the city to the next level of development, he added.
Earlier, N. Murali Babu, Superintendent of Jails gave a Power-Point presentation on the expansion of prison industries and several innovative initiatives of Telangana Prison department.
Several senior police officers praised Hyderabad Metro Rail for bringing world class technologies and travel facilities to Hyderabadis.
