Hyderabad: BJP State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao demanded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao to personally meet the RTC Joint Action Committee leaders immediately and listen to their demands and find a resolution at the earliest.

In a statement on Sunday, he said that the TRS government's adamant attitude is reflecting in its fascist centralisation of power and undemocratic spirit.

"CM KCR can't consider strike by RTC employees, as a personal insult or as a revolt against him," he said. He further added, employees, and labour unions have a right to strike and they are only using their legal rights to highlight their demands.

It's the responsibility of the management and the State government to address their demands and find a resolution, he added.

The BJP leader urged the Chief Minister and his government to immediately initiate direct interaction with the RTC JAC leaders and find an amicable resolution at the earliest.

Terming the State government is responsible for the serious inconvenience being caused to the people of the State during the festival time.

Rao said that the strike may pose serious transport issues across the state in the days to come and impact regular lives and livelihood of the common people in the State.

For this, the Chief Minister will be held responsible for all the hardships that the common people have to go through in days ahead in the State, he added.
