Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Tuesday paid homage to K M Arifuddin

Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Tuesday paid homage to K M Arifuddin, the founder and Secretary of Madina Group of Institutions and Global Group of Institutions, who passed away at the age of 77 in the wee hours on Monday.

The Home Minister visited Arifuddin's residence and offered his condolences to the bereaved family. Interacting with the former educational activist's sons K M Fasihuddin and K M Minhajuddin, he said "Arifuddin's contribution to education was indispensable and he will forever be remembered for bringing an educational revolution in Hyderabad." He advised them to continue his educational mission while assuring to extend necessary cooperation for the cause of empowerment through education.

Meanwhile, a virtual conference organized on Tuesday noon also paid homage to the departed soul. Telangana State Advisor A K Khan, Development Economist Prof Amirullah Khan, journalist Ayoob Ali Khan, MESCO Secretary Dr Fakhruddin Mohammed, All India Majlis Mushawarat Navid Hamid and Director of Madina Group of Institutions, Fasihuddin Minhajuddin and his daughter Maria Tabassum also participated in this conference.
