Hyderabad: Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Friday appreciated the Director General of Police (DGP) M Mahendar Reddy and Police Commissioners of Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda and all the personnel of Police department for the arrangements done for carrying out Ganesh immersions peacefully.

HM said, the elaborate and well planned arrangements made by police helped in peaceful culmination of the festival and caused no untoward incident.

He appreciated the commitment of police, tireless work of the personnel and the people of Telangana for maintaining peace and communal harmony while celebrating Ganesh Navarathri and Muharram simultaneously.
