Hotel Management students off to Kaleshwaram Project in Karimnagar
Karimnagar: Joint Collector GV Shyam Prasad Lal flagged off a tour bus, which is heading towards Kaleshwaram project with the students of Hotel Management, in Karimnagar on Tuesday.
On World Tourism Day, the tourism department had organised a special package tour for the Hotel Management students to Kaleshwaram project, Mukteshwara Swamy temple and Vemulawada.
District Tourism Officer R Venkateswhar Rao said that the one-day tour begins from Karimnagar on a specified date on the request of educational institutions concerned for the benefit of their students.
Joint Collector GV Shyam Prasad Lal said the Kaleshwaram Project, a prestigious and major irrigation project taken up by the State government and completed in a record time of just three years, is a wonderful project that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime and must watch the excellent mega construction. This year, the World Tourism Day was celebrated with the theme of 'Tourism and Jobs- A better future for everyone', he added.
The JC lauded the efforts of tourism department for arranging a special package tour to Kaleshwaram project for the benefit of students. There would be many employment opportunities for the youth if tourism department is developed, he
observed.
