Huge rallies mark the day in Khammam

Khammam: The May Day, also known as the World Labour Day, was celebrated on a grand note by workers of all unions and daily labour in Khammam district on Wednesday.

Local legislator Puvwada Ajay Kumar hoisted the TRS flag at many centers under Telangana Rashtra Samithi Karmika Vibhagam (TRSKV) on the occasion.

Puvvada took part in a massive rally organised from Three town cotton market under the auspices of trade unions and TRSKV. Later, at the Three Town agriculture market, he hoisted the TRS flag and participated in the rally that followed.

Subsequently, May Day was celebrated at the auto stand at bus stand centre. Here also, the MLA participated in the May Day celebrations held under the supervision of Civil Supplies Hamali workers at the Mamilagudem Vegetable Market and Narthaki Road.
